Info:
Eye catching grey Gelding born 8/06/2009
His Sire Gevaudan (pictured below) is a French bred Connemara who has had a prolific career in the show ring before retiring to stud at Sweet Wall. He competed at HOYS in the M&M Working Hunter twice and jumped in France before coming to England. He is a pony with a delightful temperament - a proper child's pony and at 14hh is not too large. He has great substance and good movement. He was born bay, so does not carry the cream gene and his pedigree is free of Abbeyleix Owen
His Dam Loguestown Misty Morn is a beautifully bred mare, with a combination of the best of old traditional lines and the performance aspect, her sire Murphy Rebel who has sired many Clifden winners and performance ponies too numerous to mention.
Marty is a straight, free moving, athletic youngster with a great step and with his performance pedigree on both sides he should make a fine performance pony. He is now a fully registered gelding with the Connemara Society.
Marty is now broken, lightly backed and out to grass for the summer.
