Poppy had a great day today at Swatragh show. On a beautiful autumn day Poppy on her first solo trip travelled well. In her first class she was a bit alarmed by the sight and sound of a donkey, something she had never seen before. Undaunted she settled to the task and won her class- Best Yearling in show. She went on to win Best 13:2hh Pony in show, Reserve Overall Connemara and in the Overall Championship of the show she was 2nd Reserve.She did us all proud and left with her head high and I did notice a bit of a swagger as she left the ring for the last time!
