Benny and Lynsey had a good weekend at the N. Ireland festival at Necarne.
Early starts were the order of the event with course walks at 715am!! Benny jumped well on Friday with just one fence down all day but that was enough to keep him out of the evening celebrations.
Saturday started at 0530 with the main event was scheduled to start at 0730 but because of the thick fog it was delayed until 0830. The track was big and quite technical, Lynsey reckoned it was the biggest track she has ever jumped, over the Cavan derby course of banks, water ditches, dry ditches and all kinds of animals! Benny had one down again but with only 4 clear we hoped to make the evening celebrations but not this year.
It was a great weekend with big crowds and glorious weather, a most enjoyable weekend before Benny's spring break.
